This text book is everything it claims to be and more. The more comes from the fact it starts at basics of various disciplines that can be related to HVAC work and eventually gets to actual HVAC instruction. I was interested in learning about specific parts of the HVAC system which are covered in detail in this work, but skimmed over things that did not concern me as I am not attempting to become fully accredited, just knowledgeable. I would recommend this book to anyone wishing a further or full understanding of how these systems work.

The book is fine. Just didn't come with the "MyHVAC Lab" that you would get from your school's bookstore. If you don't need that, then save yourself some dough and buy it here. No difference.
