I am a big fan of self-help books, or should I say good self-help books written for intelligent people. This is one of them.
Steve jumps straight in the topic by dissecting one of the basic underpinnings of life: motivation. He puts it in very simple terms and develops his main theme from there by letting the read think and review for herself: what has been the major source of success in one's life? When he or she simply managed things (including tasks arising from someone else's agenda), or when he or she aimed for something no one else really asked for - those true individual, mind- and life-enriching goals?
The book contains tons of practical advice and examples that are original - a tall order in the current torrent of self-improvement books. Highly recommend this book - pick it up, digest it and make it part of your key library of books that are going to make you better as a person.

Steve McClatchy’s book Decide has hit the NY Times Best Seller list! This is wonderful news, not only for Steve regarding his great accomplishment but also (and more importantly) for all of us who get to read about Steve’s ground-breaking and extremely valuable insights!
I read the book over a weekend and must tell you that I will be thanking Steve for this gem and for his notion of the A Task – Gains for the rest of my life!
Decide masterfully breathes life into the tired and wearying subject of task prioritizing. Prioritizing is an area that has left many of us feuding internally throughout most of our lives.
Past prioritization systems have left us with nothing but a list of others’ urgent and important whims and caprices, which has squeezed the life from our hopes and dreams!
Those days are gone! With delightful clarity and lightheartedness Steve McClatchy presents tips and skills that once again breathe life into our hopes and dreams. Our future aspirations are no longer relegated to the end of a long, busy, and tiring day!
Thank you Steve for your ground-breaking work! I am recommending Decide to every person I know who has ever struggled to realize their dreams and goals.
